The Rev. Wilford Flowers officiated. Burial was in Forest Park West Cemetery. Hattie, a native of Smakover, Ark., died Oct. 22, 1985, in LSU Medical Center, following a brief illness. She had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 22 years. She was a homemaker, and of Baptist affiliation. She was preceded in death by one son, and two daughters, survived by one son, James Cobb of Ruston; three daughters, Annette Graves of Marthaville, La., Betty Singleton of Texarkana, Texas, and Bonnie Brewer of Shreveport; 21 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one sister, Emma Story of Clinton, Okla.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were grandsons and friends.
