Cobb of Wink, Texas, was laid to rest last Thursday afternoon at the Middle Creek cemetery, death being from heart failure. The funeral was in charge of the Green Funeral home. Services were conducted by Rev. C. W. Williams. Songs were rendered by Jim Tyler, A. G. Dees, Mr. Self and Miss Mettie Foshee. Pallbearers were: Sheriff D. J. Derrick, District Attorney E. M. Fraser, W. E. Curtis, C. H. Hart, T. M. Phillips and T. L. Andries. The deceased is survived by is widow, two sons and three daughters: Clarence and Bobby Cobb of Wink, Texas; Mrs. C. N. Dexter, Longview, Texas; Mrs. Richard Martin, Inran, Texas; Mrs. Pete McClellan, Houston, Texas; also two sisters and two brothers; Mrs. J. T. Martin and Mrs. L. J. Alford, Many, Fletcher Cobb, Many and W. C. Cobb, Provencal.
