Cobb 10 Dec 1948 - Funeral services for Lt. Odus E. Cobb, who was killed May 28, 1944 on an air force bombing mission in Europe were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Osburn funeral chapel, Shreveport, Elder Glenn G. Smith, Houston, Texas, officiated. Interment was in Forest Park cemetery. Lt. Cobb is survived by his widow of Salt Lake City, Utah, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Cobb, Shreveport; two sisters, Ms. Ruthie Mary Lindsey, Salt Lake City, Utah and Miss Wanda Cobb, Shreveport; five brothers, Dewey Cobb, Longview, Texas; M. M. Cobb, L. G. Cobb, P. G. Cobb and J. O. Cobb, all of Shreveport; several uncle, aunts and cousins, a number of them residing in Sabine parish, where his father, J. E. Cobb, was born and reared.
