The Sabine Index - Reuben Thomas Cobb

  13 Feb 1959 - Funeral services for Reuben Thomas Cobb, age 57,
of Kilgore, Texas, who passed away Sunday, Feb. 1 at Mansfield,
was conducted at Spring Ridge Baptist church, Monday, Feb. 2 at
2:30 p.m. with Rev. Taylor of Kilgore officiating. he was
assisted by Rev. J. C. Salley of Pleasant Hill and Rev. G. C.
Berly of Marthaville. Interment was in Spring Ridge cemetery
under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his widow, of Kilgore, two daughters, Mrs. Elaine
Freeman of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Flora Jean Powell of Kilgore; two
sons, Orel, of Shreveport, and Richard of Kilgore; four brothers,
Lee, Walter and Obrey of Pleasant Hill, Fritz of Shreveport; two
sisters, Mrs. Thelma Rains and Mrs. Leela Rains of Pleasant Hill
and five grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Jerry Rains, Willie Cobb, Douglas Cobb of
Pleasant Hill, Marcell Cobb of Shreveport, Millard Brunson of
Kilgore and Aubrey Rambin of Mansfield.
