Walter A. Cobb

  Services for Walter Alghanon Cobb, 74, of Pleasant Hill, were
Monday, April 21, at 2 p.m., in Springridge Baptist Church near
Pleasant Hill, with the Revs. J. P. King, and Gerry Orr
officiating. Burial followed in Springridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Mr. Cobb died Saturday morning, April 19, at his residence,
following a brief illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Ola Mae Dyess Cobb of Pleasant
Hill; daughter, Barbara Shaw of Mansfield; sister, Leila Rains of
Pleasant Hill; brothers, Willie Obrey Cobb, and George Lee Cobb,
both of Pleasant Hill, and Charles F. Cobb of Shreveport; and one
grandchild.
