Mrs. Essie S. Cobb

  Mrs. Essie S. Cobb of Hornbeck, passed away Monday, April 11, at
10:55 p.m., in the Rose View Nursing Home in Shreveport, after an
extended illness. She was 70 years old.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Cobb were held Wednesday, April 13, at
2 p.m., in the Hornbeck Bible Baptist Church, with interment in
the Self Cemetery. Rev. Ernest W. Lord officiated. Services were
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors includes two sons, Douglas Cobb of Shreveport, Donald
Cobb of Longview, Texas; two sisters, Marie Nickerson, Anacoco,
Versie Kinard, Pineville; three brothers, Frank George, and Cecil
Self, all of Anacoco, La.; and three grandchildren.

  Mrs. Cobb was in state at her residence out from Hornbeck.
