George R. Cobb

  Funeral services for Mr. George R. Cobb, 72, of Many, were held
Thursday, January 19, at 1 p.m., in the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church.
Bro. Arthur Hayman officiated. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup
Cemetery.

  Mr. Cobb died Tuesday, January 17, 1984, at 7:20 p.m., in the
Sabine Medical Center in Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Verble Cobb of Many; four
children, Shirley Lee, Houston, Tex., James R. Ferguson, Jessie
E. Ferguson, and Angelo Vercher, all of Many; one brother, Curtis
Cobb, Winnsboro; two sisters, Omita Robinson, Winnsboro, and
Willie Mae Walters, Crowville; and two grandchildren.
