George Lee Cobb

  Services for Mr. George Lee Cobb, 87, of Pleasant Hill, were
held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, at the Springridge Baptist
Church near Pleasant Hill. Dr. William Crosby officiated. Burial
was at Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett
Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  Mr. Cobb, a retired farmer, died Monday, January 6, 1986, at a
Mansfield hospital, after a long illness. He was a native and
lifelong resident of Mansfield.

  He is survived by one son, Thurman W. Cobb; and one grandson,
Michael B. Cobb of Mansfield; two brothers, W. O. Cobb of
Pleasant Hill, and Charles F. Cobb of Shreveport, La.; one
sister, Mrs. Lela Cobb Raines of Pleasant Hill.
