Mrs. Verble S. Cobb

  Mrs. Verble S. Cobb, 71, died Sunday, Dec. 13, at Sabine Medical
Center in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, at Ft.
Jesup Baptist Church, with interment following at Ft. Jesup
Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Penfield, the Rev. Allen Addison, and
the Rev. Brooks Coburn officiated.

  Survivors include four children, Shirley Lee of Houston, Texas,
Jessie Ferguson of Florien, and James Ferguson, and Angela
Bardin, both of Many; two brothers, Robert Snider, and Henry G.
Snider, both of Many; five grandchildren, Cindy Ray of
Livingston, Texas, Jennifer Ferguson, and Cori Ferguson, both of
Montgomery, Texas, and Sylvia Bardin, and Charlotte Bardin, both
of Many; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends. Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by husband,
George R. Cobb; and one brother, Jessie Snider.

  Pallbearers were Chris Ray, Kenneth Snider, Bryan Robertson,
Chuck Bardin, Bobby Robertson, and Dan Chance.
