Emmett L. Cobb

  Funeral services for Emmett L. Cobb, age 71, who died Oct. 2, at
the Fraser Sanitarium, after a three week illness, were conducted
at Middle Creek Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3, with
Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating, assisted by Elder Mack Hayes,
and Elder Clyde Sneed.

  Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Edna Cobb of Florien; son, E. J.
Cobb of Florien; daughters, Mrs. Edith Bridges of Leesville, Mrs.
Melva Bridges of Florien; brothers, Elmer Cobb of Cedar Grove,
Barney, and Roy Lee Cobb of Many; sister, Mrs. Oma Britt of El
Campo, Tex.; 17 grandchildren.
