Stella M. Cheves

  Graveside services for Stella M. Cheves, 87, of Natchitoches,
were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, in Fern Park Cemetery, with the Rev.
James Poole officiating. Interment was under the direction of
Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

  She died Friday, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  A native of Logansport, she was retired from Texas and Pacific
Railroad Co.

  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Gem V. Nash of Many; and a
brother, Monnie T. Cheves of Birmingham, Ala.
