All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index Charles Fritz Cobbs - March 31, 1988 Services were conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Road, for Mr. Charles Fritz Cobbs, 66 of Shreveport, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. The Rev. Rodney Duron, pastor of First Assembly of God Church officiated. Interment was at Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Cobbs entered into rest Monday, March 28, 1988 at Willis Knighton Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Shreveport for 36 years. Mr. Cobb was a World War II veteran and was a self-employed contractor. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Cobbs, two daughters, Mary Linda Smith and Kathy Williams and two sons, Charles F. Cobbs and Pete Cobbs of Shreveport; one sister, Lelia Rains of Pleasant Hill, two brothers, Lonnie Evitt of Marthaville and Obrey Cobbs of Pleasant Hill; eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Donnie Smith, Larry Williams, Pat Cobbs, Billy Frank Lewis, Corbert Lewis and Floyd Ford.
