Mrs. Alda Pauline Cobbs

  Services for Mrs. Alda Pauline Cobbs, 91, were held at
Springridge Baptist Church, on Monday, July 18, at 10 a.m.

  Visitation was at 4 p.m., on Sunday afternoon, at the church.

  Mrs. Cobbs passed away on July 16, in Pleasant hill, La. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Asa Amos Cobbs; and one
daughter, Edith Stewart; and one son, Billy Cobbs.

  Mrs. Cobbs was born December 12, 1902, in Pleasant Hill, La.

  Survivors are two sons, Truly Cobbs of Hobbs, New Mexico, and
Asa Ray Cobbs of Marthaville, La.; one daughter, Delma Eddleman
of Singer, La.; fifteen grandchildren; fifty great grandchildren;
thirty four great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and
nephews.
