Shirley Harp Chappellie

  Mrs. Shirley Harp Chappellie, 59, of Shreveport, were held at
11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street
Chapel in Shreveport, with the Rev. Harrell Shelton, pastor of
Mooringsport Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was at
Rose-Neath Cemetery.

  Mrs. Chappellie, a teacher with the Bossier Parish School
System, died Sunday, Sept. 1, in Shreveport, following a short
illness. A native of Bastrop, she had been a resident of
Shreveport for the past 30 years. She was a teacher at Rusheon
Junior High School.

  She is survived by two sons, Robin Chappellie and his wife Sandy
of Palm Springs, Calif.; two sisters, Katherine Talley of Pine
Bluff, Arkansas, Mary Nell Rogers of Zwolle; four grandchildren,
Matt Chappellie of Bay City, Andrew Chappellie of Palm Springs,
Sarah, and Hayley Chappellie of Bulverde, Texas; and a host of
other relatives and friends.

  The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer
Society.
