The Sabine Index - Joe Copeland

  9 Sep 1949 - Funeral services for Joe Copeland, age 60 years,
who died at Allen sanitarium, Converse, Monday afternoon, Sept.
5, were Tuesday from Union Springs Baptist church at 4 p.m. with
Rev. Jerry Schmucker, pastor, Converse Baptist church
officiating.

  Interment was in Union Springs cemetery with arrangements be
Drewitt funeral home, Mansfield.

  Mr. Copeland, retired farmer and prominent citizen of
Converse, had been ill for a long time.

  Surviving are a brother, George Copeland of Oklahoma and a
sister, Mrs. E. Robinson, Converse.
