Funeral services were held in the Progress Presbyterian Church Saturday, Feb. 13, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Kerns, the Rev. J. C. Salley, and the Rev. Willis Greer officiating. Burial was in the Progress Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home, with Masonic rites at graveside. The surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Leon B. Chapman of Pleasant Hill, two sons, Homer Chapman of Pleasant Hill, and Elmo Chapman of Delhi; one brother, J. B. Chapman of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Heldeberg, and Annie Chapman, Both of Dallas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Progress Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, until service time.
