Willie Chapman

  Willie Chapman, 72, of Many, died Tuesday, July 11, after an
extended illness.

  Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m., in the Warren
Meadows Funeral Chapel, with Bishop Glen Hardy officiating. Burial
will be in the Old Town Cemetery near Pleasant Hill, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Arizona Chapman of Many; one
son, William Chapman of Bay Minette, Ala.; three daughters, Mrs.
Mary Ellen Butler of Deer Park, Tex., Mrs. Jeanette Long of Conroe,
Tex., Mrs. Patricia Ann Williams of Livingston, Tex.; three
brothers, Luther Chapman of Many, John and Elmer Chapman of
Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Bass of Burkville, Tex., and Mrs.
Alma Lee Tompson of Many, and 12 grandchildren.
