Martin Luther Chapman

  Martin Luther Chapman, 93, of Many, died in Converse on Sunday,
Nov. 26, at 12:20 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Myrtis Matlock, and Mrs.
Mamie Manning, both of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Estelle Hicks of
Texarkana, Ark.; two sons, Herman Truly Chapman of Shreveport,
and James Chapman of Texarkana, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Alma
Thompson of Zwolle, and Mrs. Mae Bass of Port Neches, Tex.; and
numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Monday, Nov. 27, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Earl Marr officiated.
Burial was in the Old Town Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
