Mrs. Leona Chapman

  Mrs. Leona Chapman, 85, of Pleasant Hill, died in Shreveport on
Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 12:45 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include two sons, Elmo Chapman of Shreveport, and
Homer Chapman of Pleasant Hill; two brothers, Clyde Blankenship,
and Kirby Blankenship, both of Pleasant Hill; a sister, Mrs.
Lurline Free of Pleasant Hill; three grandchildren; and eight
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Progress Presbyterian Church
on Thursday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. Officiating was the Rev. Kerns.
Burial was in the Progress Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
