Funeral services were held Monday, March 26, at the Bethsadia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Hoyt Greer, and the Rev. Buddy Greer officiating. Interment was in the Bethsadia Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Cooper was born and reared in the Bethsadia Community near Many, and lived there for many years, before moving to Pleasant Hill. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Julie Mae Cooper of Pleasant Hill; two sons,Thomas Delois, Jr. of Shreveport, and Donald Cooper of Pleasant Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Golden of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Helen Hayes of Shreveport; four brothers, Elliott Cooper of Leesville, Charlie Cooper of Pelican, Clint Cooper of Converse, and O. B. Cooper of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Latham of Winnfield, Mrs. Mello Nee Challis of Kilgore, and Mrs. Meadie Ballew, and Mrs. Anita McDonald, both of Converse; seven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other friends and relatives. Pallbearers were Maurice Litton, Doyle Stockton, Jake Jacobs, Audrey Cooper, Marshall Hayes, and Raymond Cooper.
