Charles Franklin Cooper

  Mr. Charles Franklin Cooper, 77, died Thursday, May 25, 2000 at
his residence in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 26 at Many
Church of the Nazarene with interment following at Ft. Jesup
Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Lowe officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Ada Belle Cooper of Many; one son,
Gerald Cooper of Beaufort, N. C.; four daughters, Wanda Foster of
Overland Park, Kan., Patricia Hoates of Midwest City, Okla., Anna
Mae Cooper of Kansas City, Kan. and Betty Cooper of Many; two
sisters, Eula Mae Hoffpauir of West Lake and Inez Sibley of
Gonzales; one brother, Dewey Cooper of Jasper, Texas; four
grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and
nephews. Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey
DeWitt Cooper and Anna Mae Cooper.
