All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Mrs. Janie Belle Cabra 8 Apr 1955 - Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Belle Cabra, 61, who passed away at 10 a.m. March 31 at the War Memorial Hospital in Leesville, were conducted at 10 a.m. April 2 at the First Baptist church in Leesville with Rev. Robert Crawford, Rev. Oakley Lee and Rev. George York officiating. Interment was in Fort Jesup cemetery under the direction of Hixon Funeral Home of Leesville. Pallbearers were: Claude Cabra, Floyd Cabra, Arthur Cabra, Burnis Cabra, Leo Cabra and Don Cabra. Honorary pallbearers were employees of the KCS railroad. Survivors: Sons, Percy L. Cabra of Leesville; Howard A. Cabra of San Marcus, Texas; daughter, Mrs. Arline C. Lucius of Many and Mrs. Lillian C. Jeane of Houston; one sister, Mrs. C. E. Zemp, Beaumont, Texas; brothers, W. A. Parker of Logansport and H. J. Mims of Many; 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Cabra was a resident of Leesville for 35 years.
