He was 84. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Muse of Many, and Mrs. Alyce Landrum of Bogalusa; three sons, Jack Cooper of Pearl River, Showalter Cooper of Oceanside, Calif., and Huey P. Cooper of Bogalusa; one brother; two sisters; 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Bogalusa, on Tuesday, March 28, at 2 p.m. Officiating were Rev. Aubrey Cothen, Bro. Mike Campbell, and Dr. Jim Anderson. Burial was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
