Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, May 27, in the Assembly of God Church. Officiating were the Rev. Edward Phelps, the Rev. James Flannigan, and the Rev. Daniel Hemphill. Burial was in the Beckom Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Cabra is survived by his widow; two sons, Barney Cabra of Many, and Gene Cabra of Hornbeck; one daughter, Barbara Evans of Hornbeck; five brothers, Clyde Cabra of Hornbeck, Pat Cabra of Jennings, Bernice Cabra of Hornbeck, Lane Cabra of Sprngfield, Mass., and Don Cabra of Hornbeck two sisters, Clara Harrison of Bossier City, and Willie McInnis of Many; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ted Cabra Dwight Cabra, Harrell Harrison, Gordon Cabra, Perry Cabra, Roy Roberts, Edna Cabra, and Paul Cabra. Honorary pallbearers were Willy Wooley, Dick Brown, ? Slaughter, Ellzey ?, Ed Guinn, W. D. Dorsett, Alex Hilton, Victor L. ?, Johnny Blake Jr., O. L. "Buck" Chance, C. B. Funderburk, and W. G. Lilly.
