Rev. P. S. Hightower, and Rev. George Albritton officiated. Burial was in Robeline Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches. She died Friday, July 16, 1982, at her daughter's residence in Jasper, Ark. Mrs. Cooper, a native and lifetime resident of Robeline, was a member of the Pink Ladies of Natchitoches Parish Hospital, the Los Adaes Foundation, the Colonial Dames, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and served on the Natchitoches Parish Library Board for a number of years. She is survived by one son, Norman Cooper of Brewton, Ala.; one daughter, Margaret Sue Barnette of Jasper, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Harold Matthews, Tommy O'Con, Kenneth Hennigan, Raymond Floyd, Nathan Albritton, Warren Woodel, Buddy Slater, and Larry Lambert. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robeline Baptist Church, or the Louisiana Baptist Children in Monroe, La.
