Cooper Services for Mrs. Elizabeth "Lizzie" H. Cooper, 89, of Converse, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, at the Drewett Memorial Chapel in Mansfield, La. The Rev. Jerry Schmucker officiated. Burial was at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse. Mrs. Cooper, born in Bronson, Texas, and a lifelong resident of Converse, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 1984, at her residence, after a lengthy illness. She was a housewife. She is survived by one son, Perry Cooper of Greenbriar, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Sherwood of Converse, and Mrs. Maybell Stone of Morrow, Ga.; six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren; one brother, Lennis Hayes of Lufkin, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Mosley of Lufkin.
