James Clint Cooper

  Services for Mr. James Clint Cooper, 54, of Converse, La., were
held Sunday, March 3, at 3 p.m., in Converse Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  Mr. Cooper died suddenly, Friday, March 1, 1985, at his
residence.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ann Malmay Cooper of Converse;
three sons, James Clint Cooper Jr. of Baton Rouge, Johnny Ray
Cooper, and Richard Allen Cooper, both of Converse; one daughter,
Olida Diann Cooper of Stonewall; three brothers, Charlie Cooper
of Pelican, Elliot Cooper of Leesville, and O. B. Cooper of
Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Latham of Winnfield, La., and
Mrs. Mickey Challis of Kilgore, Texas; and six grandchildren.
