Services were held at the Nazarene Church on Friday, May 2, at 4 p.m., with Rev. J. D. Shaws, and Rev. Lowell Bell officiating. Burial was in Ft. Jesup, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. He is survived by three sons, Charles Cooper, and Stan Barton, both of Many, and Dewey Cooper of Sam Rayburn, Tex.; five daughters, Evelyn Shaw, Inez Sibley, and Betty Davis, all of Many, Eula Mae Hoffpauir of Westlake, and Gail Todd of Haughton; one sister, Katie Vines of Many; two brothers, Ruben Cooper of Many, and Luther Cooper of Caldwell, Tex.; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
