  Mary Ellen Curtis Cabra - April 28, 1988

  Services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Curtis Cabra, 83, of Hornbeck were
held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Bible Baptist Church
in Hornbeck. The Rev. Wayne Reynolds officiated. Burial was at
Beckcom Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home of Leesville, La.

  Mrs. Cabra died Monday April 25, 1988 at Schumpert Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  She is survived by two daughters, Viven C. Shipley of Longview,
Tx., and Margaret C. Herrgesell of Shreveport; two sons, Charles
L. Cabra of Williamston, S. C. and Claude H. Cabra Jr. of
Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
