Mr. Jerry Paul Cooper

  Graveside services for Mr. Jerry Paul Cooper, 57, of Ragley,
were held on Tuesday, June 3, at 3 p.m., at Bethsadia Cemetery in
Many, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake
Charles. The Reverend Bob Spear officiated. Mr. Cooper died on
Monday, June 2, in Beauregard Parish.

  Mr. Cooper was a native of Many, and had lived in Ragley for the
last 13 years. He was employed by Bell South Telephone for 27
years. He was a Vietnam War Veteran, having received two
honorable discharges from the U.S. Army.

  Survivors include his widow, Sharon Cooper of Ragley; two
daughters, Sabrina Traweek of Lake Charles, and Audrey Louise
Cooper of Madisonville, Ky.; one son, William Paul Cooper of
Madisonville, Ky.; two grandchildren; mother, Nola Mae Cooper of
Moss Bluff; three brothers, Victor Johnny Cooper of Lake Charles,
Roland Cooper of Mansfield, and Tommie J. Cooper of Westlake; and
two sisters, Janette Arabie of Lake Charles, and Rosie Cangelose
of Mansfield.
