Those surviving are his wife, Nola May Cooper of Lake Charles; six sons, Victor, Paul, Roland, Tommy, and Wayne, all of Lake Charles, and Doyle Cooper of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Rosie Landry, and Mrs. Janet Arabie, both of Lake Charles; five brothers, Elliott Cooper of Leesville, Delois Cooper of Pleasant Hill, Clint Cooper of Converse, Charlie Cooper of Kilgore, Tex., and O. B. Cooper of Houston; five sisters, Mrs. Medie Ballew of Shreveport, Ruby Latham of Winnfield, Anita McDonald of Converse, Lillian Hollis of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Carl Challis of Kilgore, Tex. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 13, in the Bethsadia Baptist Church, with the Rev. T. E. Ewing, and the Rev. Murrel Ewing, both of Eastwood Pentecostal Church, Lake Charles, officiating. Interment was in the Bethsadia Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
