Funeral services were held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Natchitoches, at 10 a.m., Monday, with the Rev. Wilbur Cloutier officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Lane Cemetery, under the direction of the First National Home of Natchitoches. Survivors are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. L. E. Berry of Springhill, Mrs. Alton Wheat of Thibodaux, Mrs. Donald Harrison of Jonesboro, and Mrs. Bernard Slimer of Shreveport; four sons, Mervin Cooper of Natchitoches, Harold Cooper of Shreveport, Harvey, and Alton Cooper, both of Coldwater; a sister, Mrs. E. E. Vines of Florien; four brothers, Ruby, Dewitt, and Ervin Cooper, all of Many, and Luther Cooper of Huntsville, Tex.; 19 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
