She was born in Many, and lived in Shreveport since 1950. She was a loving aunt who loved everybody, and everybody loved her. Services were conducted at Centuries Funeral Home Chapel, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. Wayne Fussell, minister of Midway Church of Christ, where Miss Cooper was a charter member, officiated. Interment followed in Centuries Memorial Park. Survivors include two nieces, Christine Walker and husband Filmore of Benton, and Melba Wilson and husband Jim of Shreveport; one nephew, Harold D. Cooper of Shreveport; and many great nieces and nephews, as well as her extended family and friends at Midway Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph S. and Jennie Paul Cooper; her brother, Floyd Cooper, and sister-in-law, Lillian Cooper. Pallbearers were Jason Pugh, Jerry Pugh Jr., Brad Hinton, Robbie Walker, Wayne Walker, and Jim Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Midway Church of Christ.
