J. C. Salley officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Survivors are his sons, Elliott, and Delois of Pleasant Hill, Amos of Lake Charles, Charley Jr., and Clint, both of Kilgore, O. B. Cooper of the U. S. Army; daughters, Mrs. E. M. Ballew of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Rudolph McDonald of Converse, Mrs. Dewayne Hollis of Hornbeck, Mrs. Carl Challis of Palestine, Tex., Mrs. P. T. Latham of Winnfield; brothers, Johnny, and Clarence Cooper, both of Many; sister, Mrs. Nannie Webb of Many; 29 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
