The Sabine Index - James Monroe Coburn

  18 Oct 1940 - Last rites for James Monroe Coburn age 68 years were
held last Sunday at 2:30 at Oak Grove, near Mt. Carmel.  Revs. W. G.
Bailey and R. W. Bennet officiating.  Interment was in the Lewing
cemetery with the Dennis-Green Funeral Home directing the funeral.

  Active pallbearers:  Troy Slater, Henry Clements, J. M. Miers, Henry
Duggan, Willie Tubbs and Hull Manasco.

  Surviving is the widow Mrs. J. M. Coburn; Sons:  Norman, Beaumont,
Texas, Newman, Florien, Crit, Natchitoches, Ott, Florien, Hebron and
Harold, Florien; Daughters, Mrs. Troy Slater, Mansfield, Mrs. Willie
Tubbs, Overton, Texas, Mrs. Harvey Duggan, Florien, Mrs. J. M. Miers,
Shreveport and Mrs. Herny Clements, Mansfield.
