Coburn of Orange, Tex., age 71, who died Feb. 4, were conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, at Middle Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home of Orange, Tex. Pallbearers were Henry Norsworthy, Homer Hopkins, Artist Coburn, Nolan Coburn, A. C. Herrington, and Edward Coburn. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Coburn of Orange, Tex.; sons, Chester Coburn, Oscar Coburn, both of Orange, Perry Coburn of Fort Worth, Tex.; daughters, Mrs. Thelma Williams, and Mrs. Orene Pelts, both of Orange, Tex.; brothers, Carrah Coburn of Florien, Rt. 1, P. T. Coburn of Freeport, Miss.; sisters, Mrs. Lela Cook of Middle Creek community, Mrs. May Williams of Rosepine; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Mr. Coburn was a World War I veteran. He lived in Sabine Parish most of his lifetime, moving away about 15 years ago.
