Cook 29 Jun 1934 - Funeral services were held Friday at Center, Texas Baptist church for Mrs. W. M. Cook, 76, who died at her home Thursday following a lengthy illness. Services were held by the Rev. Joe Smith and the Rev. Jeff Davis. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery. She is survived by her husband and 10 children, Mrs. W. S. Corbett, Sr., Mrs H. B. Corbett, Mrs. R. R. Loving, Mrs. W. S. Beckram, Mrs. T. E. Cosby, and Nathan Cook, all of Center; J. M. Cook, Amarillo, Texas, C. M. Cook, Tulsa, Okla., Elmer Cook, Fort Smith, Ark,; Mabry Cook, Lafayette, Ga.; 37 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were deacons of the Baptist church of which she was a member. Mrs. Cook was formerly a citizen of Negreet.
