Cook, wife of a prominent Shreveport attorney, died at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 28, in a local hospital, after a long illness. Mrs. Cook was a native of Mansfield. She is the daughter of Mrs. Pauline R. Curtis, and the late Dr. H. P. Curtis. She married Sidney E. Cook of Robeline on March 26, 1954, and moved to Shreveport. Survivors include her husband; three children, Miss Karen Cook, Sidney Cook Jr., and Paula Cook, and her mother, Mrs. H. P. Curtis. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Friday, March 29, in the Osborn Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. D. L. Dykes, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Forest Park Cemetery.
