The Sabine Index - W. T. Cook

  18 Jul 1947 - Funeral rites for W. T. Cook, age 77, were
conducted at Antioch Baptist church near Florien 10 a.m. last
Friday by Rev. R. L. Green. He died in a Shreveport hospital
following a brief illness. Interment was in Antioch cemetery
under direction Massingill funeral home. Pallbearers were Jack
Salter, Ralph Salter, Cody Salter, Albert Leach, Chester Leach
and Lester Miller.

  Surviving relatives are: sons, Luther and George Cook of
Florien, Hamp Cook, San Angelo, Texas; daughter, Mrs Bud Miller,
Florien; step-mother, Mrs Mary Cook, Florien; sister, Mrs. Lou
Gandy, Vernon Parish; brothers, Irving, Sam, Luman, Victor and
Harvey Cook, all of Florien; sisters Mrs. Butler Pilcher,
Florien, Mrs Sally Manning, Leesville, Mrs Ida Rials, Many, Mrs.
Crockett Salter, Florien; eight grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
