Cook, 75, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Mansfield, following a short illness. Mr. Cook was born in Indiana, and lived in Port Arthur, Texas, before moving to Many. He had operated Cook's Tax Services in Many, for the past 7 years. Survivors include one son, Ted R. Cook of Lake Charles; a step-daughter, Mrs. JoAnn Copeland of Mansfield; two grandchildren; and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield. Burial was at 2 p.m., in the Zion Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.
