Mrs. Susie Cook

  Mrs. Susie Cook, 71, of Peason, died in the Peason Community on
Wednesday, March 31, at 9:15 a.m., following a short illness.

  Mrs. Cook is survived by two sons, Herman Cook, and J. H. Cook,
both of Peason; a step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Peterson of Many;
four brothers, Lloyd Westfall, A. V. Westfall, and Otis Westfall,
all of Florien; and Carl Westfall of Rosepine; three sisters,
Mrs. Opal Cook, and Mrs. Myrtle Barron, both of Florien, and Mrs.
Ouida Hilton of Leesville; 10 grandchildren, and two great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Peason United Pentecost Church
on Thursday, April 1, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. M. C. Green
officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
