Mrs. Cook died Sunday, April 25, at 9:30 a.m., after an extended illness. Officiating at the services were the Rev. James Carter, and the Rev. Joe Shaver. Interment was in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Surviving Mrs. Cook are five daughters, Mrs. G. G. Williams, Florien, Mrs. J. C. Vercher, Springhill, Miss, Melba Cook of Hattiesburg, Miss., Mrs. Florence Kuhne of Houston, and Mrs. Wayne Ellison of Tampa, Fla.; three sons, Reeves Grantham, Thornton, Ark., W. E. Cook, San Leandro, Calif., and E. C. Cook of Placerville, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Reed Hughes of Meridian, Miss., Mrs. Ada Case of Jackson, and Mrs. Vivian Williams of Meridian; 19 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Pallbearers were W. L. Dees, W. G. Lilly, Jimmy Leach, Sylvan Ray Sibley, Lamar Salter, and Mark Dover.
