P. J. O'Dwyer, pastor, St. Joseph's Catholic church, Mansfield, officiating. Burial was in Highland cemetery, Mansfield. He is survived by his widow, and two sons, Earl Cook, Monroe, and D. J. Cook, Jr., Shreveport, Mr. Cook died 9:30 a.m. Monday after an illness of several days. Mr. Cook had been a resident of Mansfield for 32 years. He had been sanitarium for the department of health since 1940. His duties covered both DeSoto and Sabine parishes, working out of the local Sabine parish health unit. He was well known in Many and Sabine parish, where he had many friends.
