Cook, 79, of Florien, were held at Antioch Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Elcie Walker, and the Rev. J. P. King officiating. Burial, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home, was in the Antioch Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Cook died on Friday, Jan. 6, at 5:20 p.m., in Many, following an extended illness. Survivors include two sons, Charlie Cook of Many, and Bob Cook of Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Gene Holdman of Pineville; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Cook of Many, Mrs. Minnie Miller of Florien, and Mrs. Emma Lowe of Florien; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mike Cook, Jimmy Cook, James Cook, Bill Holdman, James Holdman, and Gene Lehr.
