Harold Cook

  Harold Cook, 48, of Florien, died in Many on Tuesday, Sept 26,
at 2 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Cook of Florien; his
mother, Mrs. Faye Simpson of Hornbeck; seven brothers, Robert
Cook, David Cook, Wayne Cook, John Cook, Jerry Cook, William
Freeman, and Roy Freeman, all of Houston, Tex.; three sisters,
LaVerna Dobbs of Houston, Tex., and Doris Henderson, and Gladys
Anderson, both of Baytown, Tex.

  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28,
in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. The Rev. Thurman Leach, and the
Rev. Otha Greer will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Services.
