Alice Ophelia Cook

  Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Ophelia Cook of Florien, were
held Sunday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m., at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial
was at Antioch Cemetery. Rev. Willard Sandiford officiated.
Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Serving as pallbearers were Hastel Lowe, Ralph Funderburk, M. G.
Anthony, Gerald Jordan, Freddye Funderburk, and Reo Wright.

  Surviving relatives of Mrs. Cook are her daughter, Mrs. Marlene
Mixon, Shreveport; one son, Calvin Cook of Florien; one sister,
Mrs. Emma Lowe, Florien; three grandchildren; and one great
grandchild.

  Mrs. Cook died Saturday, Nov. 6, at the age of 78, after a short
illness.
