Barney Cook

  Funeral services for Barney Cook of Many, were held at 2 p.m.,
Sunday, May 2, at the Middle Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Orin
Lofton, and the Rev. LeRoy Chance officiated. Burial followed in
the Middle Creek Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Cook died Thursday, April 29, at 2 p.m., in Fraser Hospital
North, following a short illness.

  Survivors include one son, Gordon Cook of Many; four daughters,
Reba Hyatt of Florien, Wilma Poynter of Many, Alice Griffith of
Roslyn, Penn., and Evelyn Green of Bossier City; 11
grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
