James Arvin Cook (Photo)

  Mr. James Arvin Cook, 48, died in Fisher, on May 16, 1987.

  Services were held at Antioch Baptist Church, on May 18, 1987,
at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jimmy Evans, Rev. Billy McComic, and Rev.
Harold Dunn officiating. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers included D. E. Privett, Sam Ketchem, Mike Dunn,
Gordon Anthony, Lester Savell, and Gerald Jordan.

  Survivors include his father, James Alton Cook of Florien;
mother, Jewel Ozell Chism Cook of Florien; three daughters,
Belinda Ann Kimble of Baytown, Tex., Deborah Cook of North
Carolina, and Jeffery Cook of North Carolina; one brother, Gary
L. Cook of Alexandria; one step daughter, Jessica Paige Wheeler
of Florien; five grandchildren; and one nephew.
