  Mrs. Taleatha Bell Cox - March 17, 1988

  Mrs. Taleatha Bell Cox, 77, died at Heritage Manor I in Many on
March 14, 1988.

  She was a devoted member of the United Pentecost Church.

  Services were held at Hornbeck United Pentecost Church on March
16, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Doyle Carpenter officiating. Burial was
at Beckom Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home. Mrs. Cox lay in state at Hornbeck United Pentecost Church
after 11 a.m. Tuesday.

  She is survived by seven sons, Lige Cox, Jr. of Pearland, Tx.,
Marion E. Cox of Liberty, Tx., Nevel L. Cox of Many, La., James
Floyd Cox of Winnie, Tx., Roy L. Cox of Porter, Tx. and Calvin R.
Cox of Pasadena, Tx.; one daughter, Barbara Ann Young of Many; 19
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and
nephews.
