Officiating were Rev. Norman Sutton, assistant to the pastor of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Burial followed at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Coco died Tuesday, July 9, at her residence, following a long illness. She was born in Hornbeck, La., and had been a resident of Shreveport most of her life. Mrs. Coco was a retired registered nurse from Schumpert Medical Center, and a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Ernest J. Coco of Shreveport; mother, Bertie Spears of Leesville, La.; two stepdaughters, Barbara King, and Shirley Corrales, both of Shreveport, La.; one sister, Maxine Byrd of Houston, Texas; four brothers, Alfred Spears, and Clarence Spears, both of Hornbeck, La., Cullen Spears of Leesville, La., and A. J. Spears of Shreveport, La.; several step grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
